Manny B. began his lifelong love affair with music at age three by studying piano. The son of a concert violinist, Manny studied classical guitar in Barcelona, Spain, and signed his first recording contract with Reprise Records at age 15. He has toured with Gladys Knight and The Pips, Wayne Cochran & the CC Riders, Hall & Oates, The Grass Roots, and many other prominent entertainers and musicians.

Manny B. has dazzled audiences all over the USA, from LA to Chicago to New York, and all over the musical spectrum, from Santana to Segovia to Stevie Ray Vaughn. His guitar artistry is spectacular!

Manny B. is Rock 'n Roll...Latin Rock...R&B, but above all, Manny B. is a musician and entertainer who puts his all into every song and show.

Papa Phil has been dancing, singing, and slapping his bass guitar for 13 years with Manny B.! His 8 years of leading his own group in Reno, NV, adds more experience, professionalism and talent to the group.

You can’t help but notice that million-dollar grin, and that kind of contribution is priceless. From the first note to the last, each performance he gives is from his heart…
and always with a smile!

Burl spent 22 years performing with Coupe DeVille, the Cadillac of Rock 'n' Roll from the Quad Cities USA, singing lead and harmony vocals, banging out piano and configuring keyboard parts. He traveled for 8 years entertaining, singing and playing keyboard and left hand bass lines for Breez Bros, a three-piece variety band. He also entertained for three seasons on the Mississippi Belle Riverboats, Robert's River Rides of Dubuque, IA, performing music throughout day-long cruises. Burl was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame of Iowa in 2001.

Our newest member, Curtis Brewer, a Houstin, TX transplant, joins us from the great WIsconsin Northwoods. His musical skills landed him a full scholarship to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisianna. And shortly after, he began his traveling career with Vic Dana, original member of The Fleetwoods.

Curtis' repertoire is endless. Add Latin percussion to his skill set and diversity becomes his middle name. His performance gives new meaning to "getting in the zone" - the man is truly at his best when behind the skins.

Welcome, Curtis, to The Manny B. Group family!
